MS-1000

The MS-1000 is the monitoring and alert notification station for the SAFE System.  Independent of network servers, the MS-1000 communicates directly with all security alert systems in classrooms, hallways and other locations. The alert message is routed to all MS-1000s on the school network, providing instant notification without delay.

The MS-1000 is very easy to use. When an alert is received, the strobes flash and an audible alarm sounds. The backlit LCD displays a text message giving the location of the alert incident with a date, location, and time. A single press of the “Alert Silence” button turns off the flasher and audible alarm sound. The alert text message remains displayed on the screen.

Other systems that depend on email alerts only can have significant delays in notification, and can be missed entirely if the email is missed or never read.  Multiple MS-1000s can be used to provide notifications at different site locations, including local police or Security Resource Officer Stations.

The MS-1000 offers the following benefits:

  • Monitors alerts from all stations on the network
  • Multiple MS-1000s can be placed at key staff and administration positions
  • Provides both visual and audible alert
